Our app it's easy to use, user friendly and compatible with any device such as Android or iOS devices.
Steps Challenge is a virtual challenge where users form teams to compete together in this virtual challenge. The organizers can choose between tens of different routes or have one custom made for them. The app measures the daily steps of users which are extracted using the Google Fit service provided by Google.
Any physical activity can be converted into steps using the Google Fit mobile app which can run on every Android device. Also, Google Fit is compatible with a large number of wearable devices such as smartwatch, smartbands, smartrings.
The challenges will be organized by the company’s HR department and employees get the invitations to participate from them, via email.

Steps Challenge is a cost-effective software-as-a-service solution which provides web and mobile apps for managing online ‘virtual’ walking and cycling challenges for workplaces and communities. Our Steps Challenge software and service allows teams of users to track their accumulated distance on their mobile, tablet or computer and view their challenge progress on an interactive map. We can cater for almost any route - small or large - and have a comprehensive library of routes from around the world.
Download the Steps Challenge Android app and sync with Google Fit If you use Google Fit on your Android device, you can choose enable Google Fit integration in the app settings once logged in. Simply go to Settings > Connect to Google Fit With this option enabled, each time you open the app your tracked steps will be automatically logged to your account and team - there's no need to manually add distances, except those where you didn't have your Android device on you.
Yes, Steps Challenge is available worldwide however our app is not currently available in China due to restrictions outside of our control. Our customers in China have reported being able to participate in challenges via the website however we recommend testing this with your own team in China before creating your challenge.
Your challenge website will be hosted on a dedicated database with secure and scalable EU-based hosting, using our hosting partner H88 WEb Hosting. We have provisioned our software on a solid platform and employ 24/7 monitoring and hourly database backups.
